PUPPIES / KITTENS come with a 1year health guarantee which covers life threatening, untreatable genetic defects.
The Buyer has 2 business days from date of purchase to have pet examined by a licensed veterinarian.
If
pet is not examined in that period of time, this health guarantee is
voided releasing Christie's Critters from any obligations set forth.
This guarantee DOES NOT include minor treatable nuisances such as fungus, coccidia or upper respiratory infections.
A minor Upper Respiratory Infection,
Coccidia or fungus can occur as a result of the stress of being
relocated into a new home & Christie's Critters cannot guarantee
that this will not happen.
If a licensed veterinarian finds the pet to have a serious illness or the PUPPY / KITTEN is diagnosed by Buyer's vet as having a life threatening, untreatable hereditary defect that in his/her opinion prevents the PUPPY / KITTEN
from serving Buyer as a companion pet, Buyer must provide a written
statement on licensed veterinarian's letterhead identifying the problem
& must be given to Christie's Critters within 10 business days of PUPPY / KITTEN purchase date.
PUPPY / KITTEN can be returned to Christie's Critters at Buyers expense. Only then will another PUPPY / KITTEN of the same breed & cost will be open for discussion. If no PUPPIES / KITTENS are available for replacement Buyer will be offered a PUPPY / KITTEN of similar qualities when a new litter is
available.
Although Seller will put forth great effort to replace the exact color of PUPPY / KITTEN,
Seller is not obligated to do so.
If PUPPY / KITTEN
dies within one year of purchase date due to a hereditary or congenital
defect, the Seller will replace the pet when proof of the defect in
the form of a necropsy report from a licensed veterinarian pathologist
in addition to appropriate blood work is received by Seller.
Seller is not responsible for any vet expenses related to the above PUPPY / KITTEN including autopsy, blood work expenses or any other vet related expenses incurred during the course of pet's life.
>>There are NO Cash REFUNDS<< - ONLY PUPPY / KITTEN replacements in the form of a Monetary Credit for Purchase Price to be Applied toward the Purchase of Replacement Pet.
This Guarantee is NON-Transferable (meaning if buyer sells/gives away pet or on new replacement). Christie's Critters is NOT liable for expenses incurred (including medical) due to or as a result of the above pet's
actions or neglect.
Seller
does not guarantee eye color shade, coat color shade, coat length, size, weight, or personality of pet.
Seller provides PUPPY / KITTEN
solely for the purpose of a companion pet. This is not a warranty
expressed or implied that the Buyer will be able to use pet for showing
or breeding purposes, although breeding rights are an option that may be discussed prior to sale.
We cannot be responsible for anything the PUPPY / KITTEN may encounter or contract once they leave our care.
It is never our intention to cause you unexpected vet bills or heartbreak!

Christie's Critters Deposit Form
~Puppy/Kitten Deposit~
Deposits are "NON-REFUNDABLE"
This is because your puppy /kitten is considered SOLD
once the deposit is received. I accept your deposit in good-faith, and I
will be turning away other potential buyers on your behalf. Should you
change your mind, the deposit money is considered liquidated damages to
help compensate for the seller's cost of advertising, maintaining and
the resale of this pet.
Your deposit is considered a contractual agreement.
Deposits
of $200 may be made by personal check or by using PayPal feature with
additional charges added to ending balance when pet is due for pick-up. Final payments must be made by cash ONLY, (in person) when picking up your new puppy / kitten.
Puppies / Kittens
are usually available to go home with their new owner, between 8 - 10
weeks of age depending on their eating & litter box / potty training
habits.
It is important that you isolate your new pet
for a few days to a week to give them time to adjust to their new
environment before introducing them to your other pets; and to imprint
where his/her litter box, wee pad or housebreaking habits will
continue. Moving to a new home can be stressful for a new pet &
sometimes isolating them in their own room/kennel helps to acclimate
them to their new surroundings.
